Typewriter Games
an analog activity book
and field guide to the page
Forthcoming from Spacebar Press
A book of writing exercises for the manual typewriter to try on your own or with a room full of friends and strangers.
It’s part activity book, part artist’s book, and part field guide to literature’s stranger experiments. The games are derived from Olson’s projective verse and concrete poetry, from the Oulipo and Queneau, from the Surrealists, and from nearly a century of freewriting teachers, as a way of reclaiming creative sovereignty.
